I'm Miss Ballard, and I'll be your Science teacher this year! I was born in D.C. and I grew up in Baltimore County. I absolutely love all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science and Science has always been my favorite subject. I have been teaching for over 17 years and I've taught grades 3-8. I graduated from Morgan State University, a historically Black college in Baltimore, Maryland. 

My job is to help you reach your fullest potential and to encourage you to think like Scientists and Engineers!

Your job is to be open to letting me know what works best for you. We both need to be ready, respectful, and responsible.

Science is super fun and in EVERYTHING we do!
